Voice to Text

Many people who have attended my Non-Fiction Writing Workshop have said that they have trouble getting their thoughts on paper. While a digital recorder is useful for capturing spontaneous thoughts while driving or when your notebook is not conveniently available, you still have the problem of getting those words out of the recorder and on to the page.

Free software called, Dragon (available on the iPhone) is the solution to this problem! Based on voice-to-text software for people with disabilities, Dragon converts your spoken words into text that can be emailed, texted, or copied and pasted into a word document.

View the short video below that demonstrates how easy it is to use Dragon.
